Three models for three different ways to earn gold

Auction House crafting, material farming and Crafting Orders cannot share one headline margin. Each engine exposes its own cash flow, risk and stop condition.

Model 01 · recipe economics

Is this batch worth crafting?

Check how much gold returns after sales and how much stays in stock. Replace the example with your own numbers.

Editable baseline
All materials for one craft, including materials bought earlier.
The recipe's actual output. Do not count random bonus items in advance.
Price per unit of your item quality, from your Auction House.
Number of crafts. The result shows the batch's item count.
The share of units you expect to sell in one completed listing cycle.

How much this batch can use

The initial 25,000 and 5,000 gold are illustrative. Enter your cash and money needed for other purchases. All materials and deposits must be funded before any sales return gold.

Have a completed trial batch?

Use a completed listing cycle for the same market, item and quality. Unit sales become a conditional total cap shared by stock and the new batch. Check all current stock below. Increasing volume does not itself multiply sales.

Auction fee and deposit

Total deposit for one craft's output. The sold share is returned; the unsold share is lost when the cycle ends.

The defaults illustrate a calculation. The site does not fetch prices or demand for your market. Time costs and special profession effects are not priced here.

The affordable size is limited by cash and never exceeds the requested batch. It is not advice to produce the maximum. Prices, quality and listing duration must remain comparable; additional listings are excluded.

How profit differs from cash

Cash change = proceeds after fees − materials for the whole batch − lost deposits. Profit = cash change + unsold stock at material cost. Stock cannot be spent until it sells.

After sales: review this batch and plan the next

Lock a separate batch before crafting. Up to 8 records stay in this browser. Add actual sales after one completed cycle; the original forecast stays unchanged.

For example: potion, quality 3, my realm, 24-hour cycle. Use these details to check comparability.

Crafting Order Floor: what your work needs to earn

Commission must cover crafter materials, expected recraft reserve and time that could have been monetized elsewhere.

The model does not assign a universal price to skill. Target GPH is your time opportunity cost and recraft reserve remains an editable expectation.

Decision deck · eight market questions

Do not start with a profession. Start with today's decision.

Recipe margin, liquid farming, order commission, a profession reset and a new demand window need different models. Every card opens a prepared scenario or playbook.
